Brooke Newman is in her 18th year at St. Alban's Episcopal Day School. She has served as the Curriculum Specialist, a Second Grade teacher, a Kindergarten teacher, and the Enrichment Coordinator. Prior to coming here, Brooke taught 3rd grade for five years. She has a Bachelor of Elementary Education from Abilene Christian University and an Elementary Teaching Certificate (PK-6th). Brooke is married to Ryan Newman and has two children, Nate (21) and Adeline (19). Both are graduates of St. Alban’s Day School and now attend Texas A&M University in College Station. She is an active member of St. Alban's Episcopal Church.

Father John Inserra is in his seventh full year as Rector (Senior Pastor) of St. Alban’s. He is a graduate of Nashotah House Episcopal Seminary with a Master of Divinity and was ordained a priest in 2010. Prior to St. Alban’s, Fr. John served churches in New Orleans, LA and Sheridan, WY. Fr. John has been married to his wife, Sarah, for 18 years and they have one daughter, Rosie, who is a 5th grader at St. Alban’s. Fr. John is passionate about faith, family, food, and football. He is acquainted well with suffering and heartbreak, being a life-long Buffalo Bills fan.

Alicia Forshage is in her eleventh year at St. Alban’s. She has served as a 3rd grade teacher, 4th grade teacher, physical education teacher and the marketing coordinator. Alicia has a Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Science (EC-12) degree from Texas State University in San Marcos, as well as an EC-6 Generalist Texas teaching certification. She is a St. Alban’s alum, and has been in the St. Alban's community since 1992. She is married to Glynn Forshage and together they have two children: Landon (9) and Audrey (6) who both attend St. Alban's.

Maria Uribe has been with St. Alban’s for thirteen years, as both an instructional aide and a teacher. She has her CDA and is a member of the NAEYC. Prior to coming to St. Alban’s Maria worked at Wesley Preschool and as a substitute teacher with HCISD. Maria has three daughters and three grandchildren who attend St. Alban’s: Theodore, in 4th grade, Gwendolyn, in 2nd grade, and Camila who is in our Pre-K program.

Sherry Stillman, 3rd and 4th grade teacher, is entering her third year at St. Alban’s and has been in education for over 30 years. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from UTPA with a major in Speech Communications and a Texas Teacher’s Certificate for grades PK - 6. Sherry is married to Noe and has two adult children: Tomas & Danielle, along with her dogs: Bruno, Winnie, & Finn. Her hobbies are reading, gardening, and cooking.

Suzanne Manning, third and fourth grade teacher, is in her 16th year at St. Alban's and her 20th year in education. Suzanne graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Science in Speech Communications. She earned her Texas Teacher’s Certificate (1-8) from Corpus Christi State University (A&M CC). She and her husband Brent have two daughters: Mary Hayden (33) and Emma (29), both graduates of St. Alban's Day School. The Mannings have attended St. Alban’s Church since 1990.

Tara Pratt Palmer, 5th and 6th grade Math and Social Studies teacher, has taught elementary and secondary subjects for 27 years. With a BBA in Accounting, she is certified in Secondary Mathematics and Business Composite. She taught at South Texas ISD for 15 years and at St. Alban's for 9 years. Her two daughters attended St. Alban's through 6th grade and are lifelong learners. She is happy to return to her roots and share her excitement for learning. Her hobbies and passions include nature, music, and reading.

She comes to St. Alban’s from Coakley Middle School, where she taught reading/language arts and drama at all levels for 33 years. Linda is married to Steve and has one grown daughter, Ali.

She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Education with a specialization in English/Language Arts from Southwest Texas State University in San Marcos and a Texas Teacher’s Certificate, grades 1-8. Tammy and her husband, Jeff, have one grown son, Thomas. They also have one spoiled dog named Penny. Tammy loves music, reading, scrapbooking, the beach, and spending time with family and friends.

She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from St. Edward's University and has 30 years of experience as an elementary, middle, and high school teacher. Liz and her husband Larry have two grown daughters, Audrey and Lexi; a son-in-law, Brandon; and two granddaughters, Brooke who is in kindergarten at St. Alban’s and Brynne (...a future StA student). Liz enjoys spending time with her family, watching old classical musicals, swimming, and playing her guitar.

Stephanie Valdez, Religion Teacher and St. Alban’s Episcopal Church’s Children’s Minister, is in her 12th year with us and her 15th year in Education. She has taught PreK-4’s, Kindergarten, and 2nd Grade. This is her 1st year teaching religion alongside, St. Alban’s Episcopal Church's Youth Minister, Bennett Holder. Prior to her time here, she taught 4th grade in SCUC ISD for 2 years. Stephanie has a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Elementary Education with Certification in EC-6th Generalist from Texas State University in San Marcos. She has lived in the Valley with her husband Michael for the past 13 years. Their two children Sean (6th grade) and Scarlett (2nd grade) are also St. Alban’s students.

Roberta Lee was a Navy nurse; however, upon returning to college she found her passion in art. She has a BFA and Masters in Art and has taught at the university level and previously taught at St Alban's. She has owned and operated her art studio for almost 40 years. She is happy to begin her 4th year at St Alban's.
